A Home For Retired MissionariesI’d like to tell you about two selfless missionaries who sacrificed themselves to give me and my siblings and many others a chance in life. My sister, brother and I lost our dear mother in the bombing in Grenada on June 19th,1980. We were separated and lived in different areas. We were adopted by my Aunt Rica and my Uncle Buck. I was immediately amazed by their generosity and caring hearts. I remember how they struggled financially and yet they still managed to take in three children. During my whole childhood, I saw them support and help others in time of need. My parents traveled the islands feeding and clothing all those within their reach. They rescued homeless people and animals and still continue to do so. They still mentor and council people with prayers and great teachings. They live a very humble life. They lost their home in Puerto Rico, and have been forced to start over.They are retired missionaries and my dad is a retired veteran with a very low monthly income. I went to visit them over the holidays and to my surprise they were building and renovating a small Mobile Home.Their situation touched and humbled my heart, I would love nothing more in this world than to help give back just a little of what they have shared.They purchased a few acres of land, and they have managed to start building. I will share a few pictures of the rescue animals and the progress they have made. Any donation that is given will be greatly appreciated and will be used to finish the building of this humble home.
