Murielle is 2 years old and recently diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is a rare disease and affects mostly girls around the age of 6-18 months. Most milestones learned are lost during this time.
Murielle, at age 15 months, started having issues with swallowing and was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia. She has continued having complications over the last 7 months. Her mom had to stop working to take care of her health complexities. She sees over 10 specialty providers and several therapies weekly.
Murielle's dad works to support their family, although the family has had a significant decrease in funds since Murielle's mom needed to stay home. They are currently having difficulties with home options and looking to find a home that is suitable for Murielle's long term needs. Murielle has not been able to crawl or walk yet, and her rare disease has impacted her ability to talk or use her hands. Please consider donating to help them find a home that will provide wheelchair access and be cost-efficient for all of them.
