My name is Meaghan. I have two children and quite a story. I have had to claw my way back from far too many things since losing my mother suddenly at 14. I had to raise my brothers while my dad worked three jobs, and I need help. I have to get into my own home. I need, DESPERATELY, to be able to breathe financially. I work a full work week, full time and all. I can handle a mortgage no problem. It's getting there that is the major problem. I have no one else to ask except for help through GoFundMe. My family tree is down to a branch.

Since my mother's passing from a brain aneurysm in 1999, we lost my best friend and gram that same year. We then lost my aunt suddenly like my mother from an aneurysm. Then came my Poppy. Then my uncle. All suddenly. I have been in two horribly abusive relationships, and I've lost a baby at 20 weeks, which was absolutely gut-wrenching. I try to share my story as much as possible to help others find their way back from anything. I also plan on speaking publicly eventually as I find my story really tends to resonate with a lot of women and men. It's a dream.

My fiance was out of work for over 6 months for a liver condition and temporary disability took a year to be approved and fully paid out. It was an extremely scary time. He is on the mend and we're very glad he's still with us.

My kids are my world, especially our 5-year-old non-verbal autistic little guy. I also have an 18 year old daughter who's my best friend. I need a safe haven for them. A place for them to flourish and grow. Our rental won't be there forever and quite honestly if you knew what we've dealt with you'd be this desperate for a home too.

The main reason for this fundraiser is to find my way into owning a home. My credit is ALMOST there to qualify for assistance but I still need help.
