A Home for Louise

Louise has been staying at Providence Medical Center since early March initially for a brief medical treatment and then because there was no home to discharge her to.
Her previous adult family home was no longer a safe place given her balance and mobility issues. Her Medicaid payment currently is too low for other adult family homes to accept (over 170 have been contacted and all have declined).
DSHS has approved a private pay arrangement to an adult family home through this Go Fund Me account to supplement her Medicaid payment so that Louise can meet the minimum acceptable payment rate, be discharged from the hospital and finally go home!
Louise wants to remain in the Lynnwood area close to her friends, church and medical team. We just need to raise an extra $12 a day which is approximately $4,500 a year (Go Fund Me fees included).
