A Home for Linda: A Chance to Change a Life

Donation protected
Imagine being a child and knowing nothing but pain, fear, and suffering at the hands of those who were supposed to protect you. Imagine surviving that only to walk into adulthood and find yourself trapped again—this time in an abusive marriage, where every day is a battle not just for your own survival but for the safety of your children. Imagine enduring years of this before barely escaping with your life, your body already broken from years of trauma, and yet still pressing forward, determined to give your children a life of love, learning, and hope.

This is Linda’s story.

Linda is a single mother of three, a woman of unimaginable resilience who has faced one hardship after another yet refuses to give up. After finally escaping a nearly 10-year abusive marriage, she has worked tirelessly to provide for her children, homeschooling them and running small self-made businesses to make ends meet. But life has not been kind to her. Years of abuse, multiple spinal surgeries, and chronic pain have left her mostly wheelchair-bound. And just recently, as if life had not already demanded enough from her, she suffered a fall that broke her arm.

Now, she faces another heartbreaking challenge: the home she is living in is being sold, and come spring, she will have nowhere to go. With no savings, no ability to qualify for a home loan due to the financial ruin left by her abuser, and limited rental options due to her disability, she is in desperate need of help.

But Linda has a dream—one that is not extravagant, not selfish, but simply practical. She dreams of having a home that cannot be taken from her, a place where she and her children can finally find peace. She is seeking funds to purchase a functional RV or camper so that she and her children will always have a place to live, a home they can take with them wherever life may lead.

If ever there was a person who deserved help, it is Linda. Despite all she has suffered, she continues to give—sacrificing for her children, caring for animals in need, and offering kindness and friendship to those around her. I have seen firsthand how hard she works. When she lived with my family, I saw her perseverance, her love for her children, and her determination to make the best of even the worst situations.

She has no one to turn to but God and those who feel called to help. This is not just about charity; this is about giving a mother and her children a chance to finally stop running from hardship and start living in safety. This is about restoring dignity to someone who has fought for so long without a break.

If you have ever wanted to change a life, this is your chance. No amount is too small—every bit of help brings Linda and her children one step closer to security, peace, and the freedom they have fought so hard for!

Please, let’s come together and give Linda and her children the gift of a home. Let’s show them that after everything they have endured, kindness still exists in this world.

Please give what you can and have the courage to share this message. You can be part of something truly life-changing for my dear friend.
