Becoming a single mother and not having a partner by my side I prepare for one of the most profound moments in life—giving birth—my heart longs for an experience that reflects my values, beliefs, and hopes for the future. I dream of bringing my son into the world in the peaceful, ceremonial setting of my own home, surrounded by love and warmth. A home birth, supported by a compassionate and skilled midwife, allows me to honour the natural process of childbirth in a way that feels deeply personal and empowering.

But the choice to have a home birth with a midwife isn’t just about comfort; it’s about reclaiming the beauty of birth as a sacred and individualized experience.
