My father passed away on Thursday, December 4th, 2025 at the age of 72. He is survived by me (his youngest), my sister (the eldest), and his wife (my mother).

Your donation would help cover the funeral expenses. The cost for the funeral service, cremation service, and burial site is about $15,000. Your donations will be used towards the purchase of the niche at the cemetery in which he has been laid to rest. In doing so, it makes the niche even more special because you all played a part in making his resting place possible.

About my father, Trung Nguyen:
 My father was a Vietnam War veteran and was the patriarch of our family. His service in the war for the South Vietnamese Army allowed our family to migrate to the U.S. as refugees, so that my sister and I could have more educational and job opportunities. Not only did he survive the Vietnam War, but he beat cancer and battled with Parkinson’s disease up until his death. He is a soldier through and through, fought hard his entire life and survived, and is one of the strongest and bravest people I have ever known. He was beloved and well-respected by every single person who knew him—and that’s not an exaggeration. I would be so lucky to be even a quarter of the kind of person he was.
