A hero, that now needs our help!

Hello my name is Megan and I am starting this go fund me for my good friend David. If any of you that know David then you know how much of a selfless, kind hearted, amazing soul that he is. David goes out of his way on his own free will and rescue animals in need of homes from all over the US, mostly Texas, he pays for them to get here to Vermont and then houses them, feeds them, and loves them until he finds them all homes. The amount of dogs this man has saved is astounding, and he does it out of pure love, he doesn’t ask for a dime in return. On April 14th 2024 two of the rescue dogs got into an altercation over treats, David jumped in trying to break them apart so they wouldn’t hurt each other and when one dog went to bite the other they got David in the face instead. He now has an insane amount of stitches inside and outside of his eye and will need a few surgeries to save his vision (if it’s even able to be saved). David is a very hard worker and works full time on top of taking in these dogs. He will be out of work for an extensive amount of time and won’t have any incoming money. This hero needs our help. Let’s all come together as a community and show this man the love he is always giving in return. Let’s show him how great the community is at helping each other out. All proceeds will go directly to David for all his personal and medical bills and whatever else he is going to need to thrive through this rough time!!
