Shawn Michael Briggs tragically passed away on Saturday, June 15th 2019 in Sioux Falls, SD, one month short of his 18th birthday. Himself and his friend were kayaking at Covell Lake when their kayaks capsized; Shawn then attempted to carry his friend on his back, to safety, and unfortunately did not make it. All proceeds raised will be designated towards bringing his body home to Louisiana, burial expenses, etc.

Beneficiary is Michelle Fox, whom is Shawn's Mother. Michelle is a co-worker of mine.
