The good Samaritan

On Thursday Nov. 2, 2017 my older brother John was on his wuay to work on route 40 near Maylanding New Jersey. While driving he noticed a woman being beat by a man. Without a thought my brother pulled and jumped out of his car to try and stop the altercation. In the course of trying to help this young woman he was struck by the assalent falling down and is now critically injured. We do not know if he will survive yet or not. We are at least expecting a long recovery. My brother acted like a hero and gentleman. Seeing a woman in distress he acted like any grown man should. Knowing my brother he was just going to try and talk to this guy, try to explain to him that he should not be hitting a woman and try to calm the guy down. Now I'm looking at my mother sitting in the hospital waiting worrying wether or not she is ever going to talk to her first born son again. Any help you can give would be most appreciated.
