Our beloved friend, Emmanuel Trifilio has been recently diagnosed with diffuse large B cell lymphoma. He is receiving care at NIH Clinical Center and just a few days ago has started chemotherapy treatment. This process of treatment will probably last 6 months.

Emmanuel does not need -during this process- to stress over not working for the coming months. There are many expenses that only when we get sick, we realize they exist and they can be unbearable. We want to offer Emmanuel a helping hand to cope in these tough times.

We all know Emmanuel is an independent artist, very well known in our area and whose career and devotion for us tangueros or music aficionados dates back to almost 20 years now. His music not only represents his emotions of tango, which we all have been touched by, but they also express the love for this land which he has decided to make his home.

We want to help him focus on resting and recovering so he can get back to his bandoneon and all the art he loves; your donations will help him to do that.
