A HELPING HAND
In life, everyone needs a hand at one point whether they like it or not. Here is our son's time.
I am T. Kelly Canfield. I was married to Wally Adee. We are both longtime members of Local 52. Our son, Billy Adee, also a member of Local 52 in the Prop Department since 2005, needs a helping hand.
On January 24, 2022, Billy was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at a red light waiting for it to change when a full-size refrigerated box truck rear-ended him at high speed, totaling the vehicle that Billy was in and sending him to the hospital. There, he found out he had a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and needs ongoing treatment. He also had five major operations over these past years and extended rehabilitation treatment to try to get himself back to work. But as of now, he has exhausted all of his insurance coverage and has been denied insurance to continue his treatment.
Billy has exhausted all of his funds; at this point, he has nothing left for even the essentials to live on. Billy wants to get back to work, but without the professional rehab he needs, it is not looking good. We are reaching out to our Local 52 brothers and sisters, along with friends and family, and anyone who has been in this position to see if they can help Billy get back on his feet, get back to work where he wants to be, and be on his own again.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God Bless.
