A Helping Hand in Tyler's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Sunday evening, 3/2/25, Tyler was hit by an SUV while traveling on his motorcycle. Tyler was transported to Nacogdoches Hospital and ultimately flown to UT Tyler for further emergency treatment. Tyler was wearing his helmet and protective gear.
Tyler experienced an open femur fracture. This injury has required Tyler to undergo multiple surgeries and will require several more in the days ahead. In addition to his leg, Tyler also sustained several fractures to his fingers, hand, and arm.
Tyler's healing process will take some time, as he won’t be able to put any weight on his leg for 3 months or have use of his hand for up to 6 weeks. He will have several months of physical therapy to follow.
We are asking for your help in supporting Tyler & Katie during this time so he may focus on healing. Tyler will have medical bills and will be unable to work for 3-6 months time as he is working towards recovery.
If you are able to give financially, please consider making a donation and leaving Tyler an encouraging message.
If you'd like to help out in other ways, please reach out to Katie directly via message. She and Tyler would appreciate any and all support you are able to offer them during this time.
