How You Can Help:
Unfortunately, Vincent suffered a massive stroke from a clot on the right side of his brain on the morning of December 22, 2021 while getting ready for work. He underwent 4 surgeries while in critical care in ICU at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX, two being traumatic brain surgeries to save his life. He currently has no movement on the left side of his body. This whole process has rocked all of us to our core. Nevertheless, Vincent is strong, our faith is strong, and we TRUST GOD to carry him and us through this.
Many have reached out with concern, support and prayers for Vincent since having a massive stroke because he has impacted you in some way or another. We appreciate the overwhelming love, prayers, and support tremendously. Many have also asked how you can help during this time. Although there are many ways you can show your love and support, we believe this is one area where your help would do the most for Vincent and his wife throughout this process. We have never seen him in the condition he is currently in and without a moments notice, everything has changed drastically. Vincent continues to show us how resilient he is even in his weakest moments, and we have hope that he will recover because of this. His road to recovery will be a journey. He is unable to continue working and bringing in income with his own business as before. Applying for disability, social security, and other benefits that he may be eligible for will take time. His wife, Juana, is now the full-time caregiver and financial provider to support their household in the meantime. Donations will go towards Vincent's deductible, co-pays, and necessary rehabilitation and continuum care expenses that aren't covered after his medical insurance limits are maxed out; transportation, accommodations, and food expenses for Juana to care for, support, and remain by her husband's side while he receives care and rehabilitation long-term.
Thank you to all who have sent Juana Cash Apps ($JuanaWright) and other monetary gifts during this time and thank YOU in advance for your contribution to Vincent's road to recovery. May God bless you and multiply your seed sown 100 times more back to you!
Please know that our family is also actively engaged and doing our part to ensure that Vincent and Juana do not have to worry about falling into a deep financial pit during this time, and we need all of your help in any way that you can. No amount is too small and every donation is very much appreciated!
About Vincent:
Vincent is a hardworking man, a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a loyal friend, and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan! If you know him personally, he can be the life of the party anytime together with family and friends; providing us with laughter, joy and unforgettable moments! He is truly the rock in our family! He cares deeply about helping people and providing for his family without hesitation.
The way he works and goes out of his way to ensure everyone is taken care of in many ways is unmatched. Vincent has been an electrician for over 40 years. His expertise and experience is second to none in the industry and his passion and work ethic is beyond compare. He not only works a full time job as an electrician, maintenance, and handyman with Fort Hood Family Housing, but he also works for himself and is known as the community electrician/handyman. His passion for building relationships and helping those who need costly electrical and handy work done for half the cost and sometimes for free is what he is best known for. Answering every phone call, sacrificing rest, his own life and health, numerous hours and weekends apart from his own family to serve others in need has proven just how much Vincent values every client, customer, and household he comes in contact with.
Over the years he has impacted those in his hometown of Beallsville (Plant City, FL) and also in the Killeen/Central Texas area by doing all kinds of commercial and residential work. His service to the community has been a blessing to many who call upon him for help. As a faithful member of the Christian House Of Prayer in Killeen, TX he has served as a Usher for years. Through His devotion to God, family and his community Vincent has established himself as a good man. Although we are unaware of what the future holds, we are believing God for a full recovery for Vincent through Jesus Christ! Please continue to stand in agreement with us in prayer for RECOVERY, RESET, RESTORATION, AND RECOMPENSE for all!
With Love,
The Wright, Brown, & Louis Family
