A helping hand for Troy's journey with terminal cancer

Picture this,

You're a fresh 53 years young with a beautiful wife & 2 beautiful kids. You feel great, you look great, you're a genuinely great guy who's spent all of your life working hard for others, to provide for your family all in the good faith that you'll get your well deserved time/break to sit back, relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures with the ones that you love, only to be hit with the fact that you've been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

You're trying to process it all while giving the news to your nearest & dearest, trying to console them while also trying to learn how to deal with it yourself. You're grieving your own life, one with your family and all the things you know you'll never get to do or experience.

Life is such a beautiful gift yet so fucked up.

I'm setting up this fund-raiser for my colleague & friend Troy Sullivan & his family to help support them throughout this time. Troy has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which has spread to the liver. With the cancer being at the stage it's at, Troy can no longer work and his wife Lisa, who has recently had her own medical issues has also been unable to work for some time and is now taking care of Troy.

Troy has never been one to ask for help but always the first to offer a helping hand. He certainly has helped me in our years working together and I know every other colleague of his would say the same.

There isn't really anything that can help/ make a person feel better when they've been dealt something like this but myself and many more of Troy's colleagues & friends would like to do this to at least try and help ease the financial burden Troy and his family are facing.

These funds will go directly to Troy and his family and will support them with everything from bills, anything that Troy now needs to ensure he's comfortable and just the everyday unexpected costs that life throws at you especially when faced with this. They will go towards his wife & kids and hopefully they will also get to enjoy some nice experiences in the time they have left together. ❤️

If there's one thing I've learned from the shit life sometimes throws at you - it's the little things in life that matters and you never truly know what's around the corner.
And why is it always the really good people that seem to get dealt the worst hands?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you can make a donation however big or small that may be. If you are not in a position to donate, just sharing would mean the world.
