A Helping Hand for the Siminsons

Friends family and anyone can help,

It can certainly be unsettling to ask for help in a time of need. But just like that, life can be so unexpected. As you all know, my husband, Joe, has been diagnosed with cancer. Surgery was necessary to remove the mass; however, tests showed the cancer has spread in his lymph nodes and possibly lung. He will undergo chemotherapy on 9/11/23. Doctors reassured us it's treatable and his chances will be great. however, such complications will impact our finances at a time of increased and possibly unexpected expenses & unknown schedule of our work.

I will be taking some time off work here & there to be there for every possible moment while he is on chemo. We are grateful to have good insurance and amazing doctors. However, this journey has not only been a big struggle for Joe, but it has also had a big impact on both of us financially.

For those of you who know Joe, he has been a hard worker/hustler since before I met him, however, since he has been diagnosed, he has not been able to work as he normally would. Taking care of his health has now become a full-time job. He is not making/ cannot make the same income he was before this happened. After his recovery, he plans on getting back to his hustle, but in the meantime, we are asking for everyone & anyone's help to get us through at least two to three months.

The money you donate will go towards paying our rent, organic food, supplements needed for Joe, and any other unexpected expenses that can pop up.

I know times are rough right now, but we are asking from the bottom of our hearts, any amount you can spare will help us get through these next 2-3 months.
