Dear friends,
Most of you will know that our boy Stu had to undergo some rather drastic surgery recently to remove some cancer from his tonsils and neck. If you haven't yet seen the post-op photo please ask and I will send to you as it is too gruesome to upload here. Needless to say that he has been an absolute trooper and got on with it without any fuss. Even if he did look like Frankenstein for a short while.
The operation was a success but his follow up tests have detected a cancerous lymph node which means he now needs 29 sessions of strong radiotherapy starting January 19th and ending towards the end of February. This won't be easy on him and is made more complicated by the hospital being a 3 hour round trip from his home which is simply not doable for a 10 min daily radiotherapy session.
So Stuart along with Sylvia and their beloved dog Millie (who herself is recovering from surgery for cancer and therefore can't be left behind) will need to rent a home close to the hospital whilst he undertakes his daily radiotherapy and it is for this cost that I am asking we give him a helping hand.
Please show Stu that you have his back during this tough time by making a donation. No matter how big or small it will help them out
