A helping hand for our brother Joseph Cushing

My name is Matt Cordaro and I am setting up this fundraiser for my brother and best friend Joseph Cushing.
Joe was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Lung cancer which spread to his Liver, Ribs, and abdomen and his financial situation is dire. He had several other medical issues leading up this diagnosis which has depleted everything he had saved over the years. His insurance only covered up to a certain amount and he has reached that and over what he had anticipated and now having to start treatments, he cannot support himself. He worked right up until a couple of weeks ago but is now unable to work at all. He will be going on disability but that won't be enough to cover what he is already behind in medical bills amounting to over $20,000.
Joe had served his community as a volunteer firefighter in Patchogue, NY for over 20 years before moving to Florida where he resides with his son Dalton, daughter-in-law Lexi and his Granddaughter Phoenix. Joe also has a son Travis living in Florida on his own.
Joe has a huge community of friends and family that he needs right now....please help us to get Joe through this very tough time. Every little bit helps so please, even if it's $25 or $100, it all matters...... Thank You all so much.
