Hello, my name is Paola, and I am going to tell you a mini-story about this Angel that God has lent us and who needs all of us today. He's Nelson, my father, though not a biological Nelson is my Stepfather and one of the best human beings I've ever met. For those who do not know, Nelson has taken intense treatment against cancer for the last three years, has gone through chemotherapy, radiation, multiple surgeries etc., and has fought for his life against all human prognoses. We know first of all that if something has kept him strong despite all the pains and discomforts that this disease can produce, it has been the prayers to the One and Only who can do miracles, Jesus Christ and also the immense love he has for his family, Nelson has never stopped working despite his condition, he never has. Yesterday, the doctors told us what nobody wants to hear, "Humanly, there is nothing to do." However, we kept on saying that we were prepared; I think that in our humanity, it is impossible to be; they also told him that despite his poor body defense and pneumonia that he currently presents, he cannot work anymore and that the medical prognosis of life is more or less six months. This is the reason why I go to all those giving souls that still exist in the world; we want, in some way, to help Nelson spend his last days of life calmly, knowing that everything will be fine and that he does not need to work anymore because at least his medical and home expenses will be covered for some time. Let's think that any help at this time counts; every penny adds peace of mind to this incredible human being; sometimes, we spend any amount of money on things that we don’t even need or use; a dollar can make the difference for this family that today not only suffers the possibility of losing the family axis but is also suffering for not having the tranquility of the daily maintenance of the home. Today for you, Tomorrow for me is an old and well-known saying.

Hola, mi nombre es Paola, y les voy a contar una mini historia sobre este Ángel que Dios nos ha prestado y que hoy necesita de todos nosotros. Él es Nelson, mi padre, aunque no biológico. Nelson es mi padrastro y uno de los mejores seres humanos que he conocido. Para quien no lo sepa, Nelson ha llevado un tratamiento intenso contra el cáncer durante los últimos tres años, ha pasado por quimioterapia, radiación, múltiples cirugías, etc., y ha luchado por su vida contra todos los pronósticos humanos. Sabemos ante todo que si algo lo ha mantenido fuerte a pesar de todos los dolores y malestares que esta enfermedad puede producir han sido las oraciones al Único que puede hacer milagros, Jesucristo y también el inmenso amor que le tiene a su familia, Nelson nunca ha dejado de trabajar a pesar de su condición, nunca lo ha hecho. Ayer los médicos nos decían lo que nadie quiere oír, "humanamente no hay nada que hacer". A pesar de decir que estábamos preparados; la verda es que en nuestra humanidad, es imposible estarlo; también le dijeron que a pesar de las malas defensas del organismo y la neumonía que presenta actualmente, ya no puede trabajar y que el pronóstico médico de vida es de más o menos seis meses. Esta es la razón por la que me dirijo a todas aquellas almas dadivosas que todavía existen en el mundo; queremos, de alguna manera, ayudar a Nelson a pasar sus últimos días de vida más tranquilo, y que sepa que todo estará bien y que no necesitará trabajar porque al menos sus gastos médicos y del hogar estarán cubiertos por un tiempo. Pensemos que cualquier ayuda en este momento cuenta; cada centavo agrega tranquilidad a este increíble ser humano; a veces, gastamos cualquier cantidad de dinero en cosas que ni siquiera necesitamos o usamos; un dólar puede hacer la diferencia para esta familia que hoy no solo sufre la posibilidad de perder el eje familiar sino que también sufre por no tener la tranquilidad del mantenimiento diario del hogar. Hoy por ti, mañana por mí es un dicho antiguo y conocido.
