My name is Baylee, and I’m starting this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine, Jeremy Boyett.

Jeremy’s life was drastically changed shortly after birth, when he experienced his first of many grand mal seizures. Since that time, he has continued to navigate life while living with developmental disabilities and ongoing hardships. Despite everything life has thrown at him, Jeremy remains one of the kindest, most positive people I have ever met. He is deeply devoted to God, hardworking, and the type of person who continues to see the good in both life and folks even when things are difficult.

Jeremy also faces serious long-term medical and dental challenges caused by a severe calcium deficiency that progressively damaged his jawbone, ultimately leading to the removal of all of his teeth in 2013. He is now in need of continued medical care, including dental evaluations, X-rays, possible bone grafting procedures, and consultations with specialists such as an orthopedic surgeon. These health issues have made everyday life even more difficult, but he continues to push forward and do the best he can despite the obstacles he faces.

Jeremy lives alone and has very little family support. He survives on a fixed income and works hard doing DoorDash deliveries and assisting in his Pastor’s shop to make ends meet, but rising gas prices and ongoing vehicle problems are making it harder and harder for him to get by.

Jeremy is a doting owner for a young kitten that still needs its first vet visit along with basic supplies. Between medical issues, transportation struggles, food, pet care, and everyday essentials, life has become overwhelming financially. Even with these ongoing challenges, Jeremy remains a dedicated worker who does his best to stay active and give back to his community. He is not someone who is accustomed to asking for help, but rather someone who has spent his life trying to stand on his own and support others when he can.

This fundraiser is simply to help lighten the burden for someone who truly deserves kindness and support. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward helping Jeremy with medical expenses, reliable transportation, food, pet care, and basic necessities as he works to regain stability.
