A Helping Hand for India

India's second wave of COVID-19 has taken the country in an overwhelming number, this time with new and deadly variants. The pandemic has rippling effects from big cities to small villages and lives are being lost, devastatingly.  Most of the deaths are due to the lack of oxygen and space in medical facilities. There are people dying right outside hospital doors, denied entry and access to resources that would have saved their lives. The loved ones' painful cries can be heard across the country. 

A Helping Hand for India consists of a team led by students raising financial support to purchase oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies in demand. Many hospitals are out of oxygen and a single oxygen cylinder can save many lives. 

India's COVID crisis is calling for acts of kindness. A single dollar can make a difference. Change starts with you and together we can help India breathe.

My name is Dr. Balaji Aglave; I will be handing the proceedings to Sarras Foundation, which manages the Breathe India Fund Campaign. The nonprofit charity, Sarras Foundation LLC, is procuring COVID-19 related supplies like oxygen concentrators, medical supplies and ventilators. These supplies are being delivered to CEE ( Center for Environmental Engineering) a non-profit organization in India. CEE helps identify needs for life saving equipments throughout India and logistically manages, distributes and assesses needs being delivered to COVID-19 affected patients, health centers and hospitals. There is dire need of all these equipment, which has created major humanitarian disasters through our India.
