We are raising funds for sweet baby Joey, who faced a life-threatening medical emergency shortly after entering the world. Joey was diagnosed with Coarctation of the Aorta (CoA) and bicuspid aortic valve (BAV), a serious congenital heart defect that required heart surgery and extended stays in the NICU during his first days of life.

Watching Joey fight so hard was both heartbreaking and inspiring. Those early weeks were filled with fear and uncertainty, but thanks to the incredible medical team and Joey’s strength, he pulled through. We are so relieved and grateful to share that he is doing much better now and is continuing to recover.

As Joey continues to heal, the medical bills from his surgeries, NICU care, and hospital stays have quickly piled up. Joey’s dad is balancing work while continuing school for his nursing degree, and Joey’s mom returned to work sooner than expected so they could begin paying down the growing medical expenses. Despite their determination, the financial weight of these bills has been a heavy burden for them, and we are humbly asking for help to ease some of that strain.
