A Helping Hand for Asit's Family to navigate the Unexpected

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our dear friend, Asit Kumar, aged 53, a long-time resident of Reno, NV. Asit tragically left us is early hours of January 21st, 2025, likely due to a cardiac arrest or a stroke. Despite the unexpected nature of his passing, his memory remains vivid and cherished in all our hearts.

Asit is survived by his loving wife, Nimisha, and their two wonderful children, Anunay (21) and Arnav (17). This tragic event has left their beautiful family shattered, stealing away their happiness and dreams. Many of us were privileged to know Asit as an incredible husband, a devoted father, and a loyal friend. His warm, jovial nature and humble demeanor touched everyone he met, creating lasting bonds and friendships wherever he went.

Asit’s unwavering devotion to Lord Hanuman and his love for life were inspiring. Whether it was his passion for music, his love for cricket, his enthusiasm for food, or his admiration for Big B, he always found joy in the little things that made life brighter. His infectious laughter and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Asit and Nimisha shared a remarkable journey of 23 years of marriage, building a loving home and nurturing two amazing children. Anunay, a junior at UC Davis, and Arnav, a high school senior at Davidson Academy, are reflections of the love and dedication Asit poured into his family.

At this time of an unimaginable grief, we are reaching out to support Asit’s family and help them navigate these incredibly challenging times. While nothing can fill the void left by his absence, we can come together to ease one of the burdens they now face.
