Help Me Beat Bowel Cancer

Hi, my name is Jhon Ramírez, and today I’m sharing my story with humility and hope, in the most difficult chapter of my life.

In March this year, I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Since then, everything has changed. I underwent major surgery to remove the tumour, followed by a second operation to insert a catheter through which I now need to receive chemotherapy.

This treatment is urgent and absolutely vital to stop the cancer from coming back. I need six months of chemotherapy, which is my best chance to recover and move forward with my life.

Unfortunately, my private health insurance doesn’t cover the treatment I need. The total cost is estimated at $18,000 AUD, which includes chemo sessions, essential medication, and follow-up appointments.

Due to the physical toll of the surgeries and side effects of chemotherapy, I’m unable to work during this time. I’ve already exhausted my savings and resources, and now I find myself in a vulnerable position—one where I truly need your support to continue this life-saving treatment.

Ayúdame a vencer el cáncer de colon

Hola, mi nombre es Jhon Ramírez y hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una parte muy difícil de mi vida, con la esperanza de encontrar apoyo y solidaridad.

En marzo de este año me diagnosticaron cáncer de colon. Desde entonces, mi vida dio un giro total. Me sometí a una cirugía para remover el tumor y luego a una segunda operación para implantar un catéter, a través del cual debo recibir el tratamiento de quimioterapia.

Este tratamiento es urgente y fundamental para evitar que el cáncer regrese. Consiste en 6 meses de quimioterapia intensiva, mi única oportunidad real de sanar y recuperar mi vida.

Lamentablemente, mi seguro médico no cubre el tratamiento, y el costo total estimado es de 18.000 dólares australianos. Esta cifra incluye las sesiones de quimioterapia, medicamentos y controles médicos posteriores.

Debido a los efectos secundarios de la quimioterapia y al desgaste físico que ya he sufrido, no puedo trabajar durante este tiempo. Tras las cirugías y haber agotado todos mis recursos, me encuentro en una situación muy vulnerable, y por eso hoy recurro a ustedes.
