Hello: My name is Muhammad Abu Assi and I am 30 years old, married and have two young children... Jihad is 5 years old

and Celine is 3 years ol ...

I named him Jihad, my eldest son. His sister Celine came as if she had brought the whole world with her for him. They are two souls that will never be separated from each other.

She does not want to eat anything, drink, or even eat sweets unless her brother is there to eat with her, and he also feels the same way. The two beloved brothers did not have the time to rejoice together at the arrival of the time for Jihad’s kindergarten. Two months were enough for them to develop a love of education, activities, writing, and drawing like the rest of the children in the world..... after that. ??!!

It was called a war of extermination The war began and fear began to creep into the hearts of my children. I tried to be completely calm in front of them so that their fear would not increase. The sound of planes, the sound of missiles, the belts of fire everywhere around us, the sound of our screams were calling out to God... We fled from our area of residence to another area, displacing us in about 15 places, and in every place there was a story of pain and suffering. We saw death with our own eyes.

In my uncle's house, we were sleeping safe from God. We woke up to the sound of stones falling on the heads of my sons and ours. The smoke of the bombing did not allow us to see each other. A house next to us was bombed, and these are the stones of the house, cutting and injuring, and fragments of the missiles. It was not the first time this scene was repeated every time we ran away. To our relatives' house.
We were besieged in our residential area on Al-Wahda Street for two full weeks. We experienced the worst types of torment, hunger and thirst. We could only pray to God. Tank shells and the sound of the code were almost deafening from the intensity of the sound. Shrapnel was passing over our heads. We were screaming at the top of our voices. There is no water to wet my children’s mouths with, nor food. Their hunger was satisfied. We drank from the water from the air conditioner that our neighbor had stored for the car before the war, and we distributed it in drops to each of us. We tasted the worst types of oppression, humiliation, hunger, thirst, and destruction, and we still watch death every day and escape from it. I am very afraid for my young children. I wish them a life more beautiful than this life we live. Jihad hopes to complete his dream education. He wants me to read stories to him and his sister. Help me to build a future for my children that is more beautiful than the future of death that awaits us.
These are our pictures before the war:

This picture is while I was working in a restaurant and now I am without a job

This is our situation during the war, which only made us taste all kinds of life’s troubles, from hunger, thirst, poverty, fear, terror, tension, anxiety, and homelessness...
