In loving Memory of Daddy Alex Bolado "TATS"
Donation protected

Hello Family and Friends,
I am Mitch Guevara, the granddaughter of Alex "Tats" Bolado. I am currently residing in Texas, USA and we are raising funds on behalf of our deceased grandfather, Daddy Tats. He has joined our Creator on July 25th, Saturday, at 2:50pm, in Foothills Hospital Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The funds raised will be used in payment for the hospital bills and his funeral service. All this will be managed by Alex's son-in-law in Calgary, Joseph Loyaga, together with his wife, June Isabel(Alex's daughter, my aunt).
Our whole family would like to extend our great appreciation to those who have donated and also to people who sympathized and prayed for all of us during these trying times.
Sincerely,
Mitch Guevara
"Save the Antagonist"
Some of you (especially the older generation) may recognize Daddy as one of the antagonist "goons" in old Filipino Action films, the scariest character in "Shake Rattle and Roll" flicks & etc. Our Daddy Tats, as we call him, is a fighter. He has been through a lot from dealing with end-stage renal disease to surviving a complex kidney transplant. Now we are faced yet again with another test.
A few weeks ago, Daddy Tats and Mommy Nancy, flew from the Philippines to Calgary Alberta Canada to visit her youngest daughter, after 3 months of delay due to Covid19 and a 14-day quarantine, they are now once reunited again. Three weeks after the arrival in Canada, he complained of being exhausted. The day after he complained, he passed out gasping for air and struggling for his life that prompted EMT to do CPR and to use the defibrillator on him a couple of times. According to the docs, he had a massive heart attack and found out that he has blockages in his arteries that supply his heart which resulted to loss of oxygen to his brain.
He has been in life support for 5 days straight with involuntary reflexes/movements, blank stares, inability to recognize, and follow direction on tip of pneumonia due to the massive heart attack and loss of blood supply to his brain. A few minutes ago, we have received the unfortunate news that he is deteriorating, but we know deep in our hearts and God willing that he is fighting and that he is going to recover from this.
We are asking for a few seconds of your generous time and hearts' desire to help us raise funds to continue this battle with him together with his lovely wife (our Lola) and family. We do not have enough resources as this is a very shocking and unexpected event. Our funds are demising as hospital bills rise with more and more procedures and tests are needed to be done. Daddy and Mommy, are just tourists in Canada and they only have enough money to sustain them for a couple of weeks in a foreign county.
If you could support this gofundme created by his loving grandchildren by making a donation and then sharing it to your network, we would greatly appreciate it. I know money is very tight right now during this pandemic season but please know that even $5 helps us get closer to our goal of helping them pay the hospital bills. Let us know if you have a question and we'll be glad to answer it.

One last thing, we do not know much time we have left here on Earth. Show your love to your loves. PLEASE DO. Life is very unpredictable so cherish it.
Regards,
