Today marks 1 year since we lost my son Conner Ray McKinney. It’s been a hard year, all the First without you, the first Mother’s Day, Halloween, thanksgiving and especially Christmas without you, it’ll never be the same. I should be practicing with you right now for your drivers permit but instead I’m designing your headstone. I don’t know how we would have gotten through this hard time without the love and support of our family, friends and community. I’m here asking for your help one more time. Although it’s been quite difficult saying goodbye it’s even harder deciding how to memorialize such wonderful person. I have posted a picture of the headstone and design I’ve picked out, obviously the name and dates will be changed but I think this collection of pictures represents all the sports he loved and him, still working on the words but the total is $9500 and we need at least half to put in the order and get it started. It should be ready sometime between his birthday and Christmas. Please help us in giving him one last gift from the heart.
