On October 31st @ 2:15am God blessed us with our son kaizen Leoneidas Luafatasaga. On December 2nd @ 11:51pm God gave our Kaizen his wings

We are heartbroken that our baby Kai was taken from us so soon. Kaizen fought for his life while battling a heart defect during birth. Kaizen made really good progress in his recovery until yesterday afternoon we received a call that he experienced a severe brain bleed.

Doctors informed us that it was significant and he would require surgery. Shortly after, doctors evaluated him again and said that kaizen would not be a good candidate for surgery because he was already dealing with a lot with his heart.

As we ask the doctor what the next steps would be he informed us that there was nothing they could do to stop the bleeding. Kaizen was basically living out of tube at this point and fighting to stay alive.

Even after hearing this our faith in God never waivered. We believed that God would work a miracle on our son. Unfortunately, God had other plans. He called our baby kaizen to be with him. As we watched our son take his last breathes all we could think about is the little time that we were able to spend together.

To hear his cry again and to see his beautiful eyes one more time. We’re so heartbroken that we won’t be able to be with our son here on earth but I know he is in a better place with our Heavenly Father. You don’t have to suffer anymore my baby. Mommy and daddy love you so much!!! Watch over us up there my little angel
