It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Waha Sem. This loss has shaken our family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Waha was more than a cousin—he was a brother, a son, a friend, and a light to so many. He was deeply loved by many because he truly had a heart for people. Waha was always supportive, always encouraging, and always pushing those around him to reach their full potential. If you were his friend, he believed in you—sometimes even more than you believed in yourself.

He was also an incredible athlete. His dedication, discipline, and passion showed not only in sports but in how he carried himself in life. Waha inspired others through his strength, his work ethic, and his determination, both on and off the field.

Our family is coming together during this unimaginable time of grief, but we are also facing unexpected financial burdens related to funeral and memorial arrangements. We are raising funds to help honor Waha’s life and give him the homegoing he deserves.
