Timothy (Tim) Meyer, a beloved father, husband, friend and more, passed away on January 9th, 2026. He was a kind and hardworking father, a quiet appreciator of poetry and music, a lover of nature, all dogs, and a handful of cats. Tim faced a 16 year long fought battle against heart conditions and a complicated stroke history, and though he ultimately succumbed to his medical complications, there is no denying he has much more peace.
Tim is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Holly; his three children, Brandon, Reanna, and Josh; his siblings, Larry, Tom, Linda and Pam, as well as many other friends and family, including step-children Tasha and Phillip. He was preceded in death by his parents, friends, and loved ones, and his younger brother Alan, who we know he's been looking forward to seeing again.
Always a dad-joke pun-intended jokester, a lover of cool cars and cop shows and beer and his kids, and a U.S. veteran, Tim was a good man who will be missed dearly by many.
His death was sudden - despite having been in a decline for a while, our family was not prepared for him to pass away on Friday. We were discussing plans for involving hospice to ease his end of life and bring him more comfort once he was released from the hospital after fighting two intense infections. He succumbed to those infections without us understanding how close he was to doing so. Funds are needed to help his family pay for a service he would appreciate.
