It is with heavy hearts that we share this story about my wonderful mother who was named Maria Mercedes Garcia. She was a kind and loving woman, who despite her continuous conditions did she prove that no matter what, she was always going strong to make the best of any situation. She found joy in the simple things in life and was always happy to lend a helping hand to anyone in need while keeping a smile throughout it all.

Sadly on May 31st 2025 she suffered her 4th stroke, leaving her immobile from her right side and this last year was spent taking care and loving her with the hope that she would recover from this new situation and return stronger than ever. Instead, our family was met with hardships one after another as her other conditions (her kidneys were weak, along with her heart) worsened while we strived to get her the best care and help this city could offer.

Yet slowly she was losing her battle until her body could no longer continue to fight and sadly, at 2 am on Friday, June 5th 2026 and at only 78 years old, our family lost one of the greatest women and someone I was blessed to call my Mom ♥

We come to ask for any help with covering her funeral and burial expenses as we mourn and to please keep her and strength for our family in your thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time.
