Hi, my name is Kaila, and I am starting this fundraiser to help my family cover the memorial services for my grandfather, Luis Acosta.

We lost my grandpa on Saturday, March 14, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. While we knew this day would inevitably come, it still leaves us heartbroken and facing the financial burden of giving him the proper sendoff he so richly deserves.

My grandfather leaves behind his beloved wife—my grandmother—whom he was married to for 60 wonderful years, along with his four children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren who will forever carry his love and memory with them.

He was a generous man with a heart of gold. He was truly the patriarch of our family and always believed in helping others whenever possible. His kindness, wisdom, and love shaped our family in ways that words cannot fully express.

With this fundraiser, we hope to honor him by giving him the farewell he deserves. The funds collected will go toward covering the final expenses associated with his burial and memorial services.
