My mother, Kimberly was diagnosed with bladder cancer in October of 2024 after having surgery to have her bladder removed and several rounds of chemo and radiation her cancer became more agressive spreading to other parts of her body including her colon and kidneys. Unfortunately her fight was strong but short and after she was transferred to hospice she hung in there 2 more days for us and she was called to heaven Sunday morning. Although she was sick her cancer started out at stage 2 and we had many reasons to think she would be able to make a full recovery and her passing still feels very sudden for us. Unfortunately my siblings are not availble and the planning and cost is solely my responsibility at this time and every bit of help would be more than appreciated! My mom helped me raise my boys, dinners when I had to work graveyard, carpool to and from school when I had to work a 2nd job, and all the extras I couldn't attend to or afford my mom ALWAYS made sure the boys still had someone there for them, she always went above and beyond for her grandkids and this has been in some ways harder on them. Theyve talked about the things they would like to do for their Nana for her celebration of life and anything I can make happen for her I would be more than grateful for. Thank everyone who took the time to read!
