We are raising funds to help a dear friend during one of the most heartbreaking moments of her life.

On February 12, 2024, her husband began a difficult and courageous battle with liver failure. For months, he fought with strength and determination, holding on as long as he could. Despite every effort, he tragically passed away.

He leaves behind a devoted wife and six children who have lost a loving father, guide, and source of strength. In addition to being a devoted family man, he was also a minister at his church, where he faithfully served, encouraged others, and dedicated his life to helping those around him.

In the midst of overwhelming grief, the family is now facing the heavy financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. No family should have to worry about how to lay their loved one to rest while navigating such a profound loss.

We are asking for help to ease this burden so his wife and children can focus on grieving, healing, and honoring the life and legacy of a man who gave so much to his family and community. All funds raised will go directly toward funeral and memorial costs.

With a heaviest of hearts I write this now, my love Juan Carlos has gone to be with the Lord…. That’s our goal and he would always remind me of this. How I miss him already, my heart breaks for our family, for my children who will have to grow up without their dad, my heart breaks for a mom who will have to bury her son, for a brother who will have to do the same to his little carnalito. My heart aches for the lives that are impacted by his early departure. How I love him so much! I’m going to miss how he was always so fascinated by my little talents. I’m going to miss painting while he watched his cooking shows and how he would annoy me with trying to figure out what I was painting, before it was completed. How he would try and compete with my singing. He always swore he could hold a note….I’m going to miss walking outside and seeing you work on your cars, or you just asking me to the movies. I AM JUST GOING TO MISS YOU!!!!!
