It is with heavy hearts that my family and I mourn the loss of Jai Barnes Jr. (Baby Jai).

Jai was born on July 30th, 2008, and from the very beginning, he brought so much joy to everyone around him. He was a wonderful son, caring brother, beloved grandson, and a cherished nephew. Baby Jai had a smile that could light up any room, and his presence was a source of happiness to his family and friends.

On Feb 10, Jai's life was tragically taken from us as he was getting off the school bus in front of his home. This unimaginable loss has left our family heartbroken. Jai was preceded in death by his father at the tender age of 9 years old. Jai Jr. was left to figure out his own path into becoming a young man. Despite the trials and tribulations of a grief-stricken childhood, his main goal was just to graduate high school. He wanted to make his family proud! Sadly, Jai did not have a life insurance policy, and we are now faced with the overwhelming costs of giving him the homegoing celebration he deserves.

We are reaching out to our community for support as we plan to lay Jai to rest. Any help you can provide will go directly toward funeral expenses and honoring Jai's memory. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to our family during this incredibly difficult time.
