With heavy hearts, we are starting a GoFundMe account for our beloved cousin, Isabella Cortes.

On Sunday night, a tragic event changed our family forever. Isabella was hit by a car on Morton Street while she was on her way home after playing at the park. Isabella and the adult caring for her were crossing the street when a vehicle struck her.

Despite the efforts of medical staff, Isabella has since been declared brain dead. Our family is now facing the unimaginable and preparing to say our final goodbyes, as she will be taken off the ventilator sometime this week.

During this incredibly painful time, we are asking for help to cover Isabella’s funeral and memorial expenses. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean so much to our family and help ease the financial burden as we grieve this devastating loss.
