It is with unbearable heartbreak that we are raising funds to lay my grandson, Ayden Wyatt, to rest.

Ayden was born on September 12, 2008, and his life was taken far too soon on January 30, 2026, due to gun violence rooted in domestic violence. He was only seventeen years old.

Ayden was a gentle giant. The kind of young man whose smile could light up a room without him even trying. He had a soft heart, a warm laugh, and a presence that made people feel safe. To me, he was my hamburglar, my boy, my joy. He was deeply loved, and his absence has left a silence we are still trying to understand.

Nothing prepares a family for this kind of loss. In the midst of our grief, we are facing the unexpected financial burden of related expenses. This GoFundMe is to help cover those costs and allow us to honor Ayden with dignity, care, and love.
