Andrew Giles funeral and final expense fund. It is with heavy broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Andrew Giles on 04/20/2026. Andy was a loving son, brother, father, partner and friend who touched the lives of everyone around him. Andy was your local garbage man. He was the guy that put your can away every time. If he knew you were sick or elderly he went the extra mile for you. Andy was the type of man you could call at 9:30 at night and ask for a loaf of bread and know he would bring you that bread. He was one of a kind. He loved his mama, dogs and family with all his heart. The world is sadder with his passing. He grew up outside of Chicago but loved Boulder City and made it his home for the last 13 years.

Andy loved people so much even in his passing he gave the gift of life through the Nevada Donation Network.

Andy loved Boulder City and even weeks before his untimely passing told his family how much he loved his life out here and how much he loved this town.

Andy may not have known your name but trust and believe he knew your dog's name. The entire town's dogs names. He loved his dogs and your dogs.

While we are experiencing this tremendous emotional loss we are faced with the financial burden of out of state burial transportation/funeral/ final expenses due to his unexpected passing.

We are reaching out to our community to help Andy's family with these financial burdens they are experiencing.

While Andy will be buried in Illinois to return to his mama, we are having a Celebration of Life for Andy here in Boulder City on Saturday, May 2nd at 6: 00 pm at the Veterans Memorial Dog Park next to the pond. You and your furry canine companions are encouraged to attend. Andy loved Boulder City, but he loved the dogs more.. we hope to see you there.
