On February 5th, our mom, Ana Leticia Rivera, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.
If you knew Ana, you know she had the biggest heart. She didn’t just talk about helping people, she lived it. Growing up, it wasn’t unusual for my sister and me to come home and find someone new sitting at our kitchen table. If you needed help, you were welcome. A meal, a ride, a place to stay. She always found a way to help.
She immigrated to this country at just 19 years old in pursuit of the American Dream. She worked tirelessly her entire life - as a teacher, a small business owner, and a home health care attendant. She always put her children and family first. She sacrificed quietly and loved loudly. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.
As we prepare to honor her life, we are asking for support to help cover the costs of her viewing and memorial services. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward giving her the farewell she deserves.
More than anything, we want to celebrate her legacy. A legacy of generosity, resilience, faith, and unconditional love.
If Ana ever helped you, prayed for you, fed you, encouraged you, or simply made you feel seen, this is an opportunity to help us honor her life and the countless ways she showed up for others.
Thank you for your prayers, your love, and your support during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful.
Her viewing will be held on Thursday February 12th, 2026 from 9am - 1pm (EST) at Lloyd Maxcy & Son's Beauchamp Chapel - 16 Shea Place New Rochelle, NY 10801.
With love,
Erik, Darla, Katie, Wilson, Julian, and Maddox
