Imagine a person whose light is so powerful it illuminates everything around him. That is Miguel, a truly fantastic human being, whose nobility and integrity are rarely found. He is my best friend, and his smile is an act of pure generosity; his positivity, a contagious force.

Born in Veracruz, Mexico, Miguel took an audacious path that led him to London. There, through tremendous effort and tenacity, he not only carved out a life for himself but discovered his true calling: becoming a Reiki Master. For years, his work was about touching lives, teaching countless people to heal and find peace. Miguel dedicated his life to giving.

Six years ago, that light was challenged by darkness: an unusual and brutal diagnosis for his age: colon cancer. Miguel fought with admirable bravery and achieved the unthinkable, going into remission. We thought the battle was over.

But life dealt another blow. Last year, the illness returned with even greater ferocity: Stage 4 metastatic cancer.

Today, the man who taught us to heal is fighting the battle of his life in his native Veracruz. His body is exhausted from months of pain, treatments, and constant physical problems. Miguel can no longer work; his vital energy is entirely dedicated to his survival.

Miguel is only 50 years old and has an immense desire to keep living, teaching, and loving. He still has so much to offer the world. Please, allow him to focus solely on healing.

Nacido en Veracruz, Miguel tomó un camino audaz que lo llevó hasta Londres. Hoy, Miguel está librando la lucha de su vida en su natal Veracruz. Su cuerpo está agotado por meses de dolor, tratamientos y problemas físicos constantes. Miguel ya no puede trabajar; su energía vital está dedicada por completo a su supervivencia.
