Hi my name is Dave "Chinner" and I've known Hammy for ten years,

In the game of life, we're often blessed with champions who rise to the occasion when it's needed most. Sean "Hammy" Hamilton has been that hero for the decade that I've known him and for much longer than that before I joined the league. He's the man behind "Sunday Funday" and the "Slow Pitch For the Kids" tournament – bringing joy and unity and more than a few laughs to our community.

But life isn't always fair, and this time it's Hammy who needs our help. Just the day before playoffs last season, Hammy was dealt a tough blow: a diagnosis of stage 2 cancer. He's been quietly carrying this heavy burden, determined not to let it overshadow the passion and love he's poured into our Sundays. Rarely one to ask for help, he's kept his this largely to himself for the last three months. But he needs to know that he's not alone in this. He's got us.

Today, Sean's on a different field, battling hard with chemotherapy. His strength present, but he can't do it alone. Sean needs his family, and you, the members of Sunday Funday, are his family.

Imagine the countless smiles he's brought to your face, the laughter he's shared, and the camaraderie he's built. He's been the back bone of our league for years. Now, it's our turn to rally around him. The financial strain of this battle is immense, and Sean, who also helps support his mother, is unable to work as he fights for his life.
