Hi everyone. My mom had a massive stroke on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 8 pm. She was rushed to the hospital and the doctors gave me an option of giving my mom a medicine called TPA. The medicine was a 50/50 shot. It would either pass the clot in her brain or cause further bleeding. We decided to give her the medicine. She initially responded well however after further testing with the neurologist, they then decided to go in for surgery to assist the blood clot and open up the blood vessel. The surgery went well however, the surgeon told us that she has a 50/50 chance of recovery. If she does recover she will be in a long term rehabilitation center... My mom is the sole provider of my family and without her we would be lost. I am raising money to make sure she has a house to come home to and her bills are paid. She has always been there for her friends and family. This is our chance to say thank you for being the amazing person that she is. I will let you all know how she's doing.
