My name is Emma L'Heureux, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My mom, Lisa Guerin L'Heureux, who is the strongest and most resilient person I know, has been struggling with a severe heart condition for years. Despite all her efforts to manage her condition, her health has been deteriorating rapidly, and her doctors have told us that she urgently needs a heart transplant to survive. Without a transplant, this is a fatal health condition.

As you can imagine, the cost of a heart transplant is astronomical- on average about $1-2 Million, plus the additional cost of immunosuppressants post-transplant. Our family is underinsured, and simply cannot afford it on our own and are already struggling with medical expenses. That's why we have decided to launch this fundraiser, in the hopes that we can raise enough money to cover the cost of the transplant and give my mom a fighting chance.
