A Heart for Jim

As a professor, pastor, counselor, and friend, Jim Street has touched the hearts and lives of many individuals over the years.   Now, Jim Street is in need of a new heart!   For many years, Jim has dealt with Congestive Heart Failure, which developed after his heart was attacked by a virus. Unfortunately, medications and devices are no longer working to keep Jim's heart pumping strong.   After spending the past 3+ weeks in the Cardiac Care Unit at Emory hospital, Jim has now been approved for a heart transplant.    He will not leave the hospital without a new heart!    This journey does not come without tremendous cost, over and above what insurance will cover.   Please consider making a donation to help the Street family with all additional costs that are accruing daily.  

Jim is currently the pastor at North River Community Church in Lawrenceville, GA.   Jim and his wife Linda have one daughter, Amber, and two granddaughters, Bella and Millie.    Please pray for Jim, his family, his medical team, and for the family of the organ donor.   May it give them comfort knowing that their loved one chose to save the life of another.
