A Heart For Carmen

Dearest friends, family and supporters,

Our family is in need of deep prayer and your financial support to help save Carmen's life.

For the last few years, Carmen has been suffering from abdominal pains. After visiting several hospitals for treatment, she was never diagnosed with a cardiac condition. On the morning of her birthday, March 18th, 2023, Carmen suffered a major heart attack. Since then, she has been hospitalized and fighting for her life in the critical care unit. According to doctors, her heart is only functioning at 20% and we are now informed that she needs an emergency heart transplant to live.

This has been devastating to our family, especially to her three kids. Carmen loves life and is known for having a heart of gold... as well as her infectious laugh, love of dance, and thrill for excitement.

Carmen is known as a respected businesswoman in the Paterson, New Jersey community for over 30 years and her optical business has been a staple amongst the underserved. She takes pride in giving away free glasses to the less fortunate and has generously donated to the Lions Club and Paterson Police Department for years. Carmen finds great joy in seeing others happy... she literally would give her last to be of service to someone in need, especially to those she loves.

Unfortunately, due to her diabetes... personal healthcare has been a hardship and Carmen wasn't medically insured when she had the heart attack. That is why we need your help. We are in dire need of emergency medical care and financial support to help pay for her high accumulating medical expenses, both pre-and-post heart transplant.

Our Carmen is such a fighter, despite being connected to a feeding tube, a breathing tube, and a heart machine... she still managed to scribble a note to her kids begging for the doctors to do anything and everything to save her life... and that is exactly what our family is fighting for.
