A Heart For Bobbi

Hi, my name is Lisa Brazzale. I’m starting this fundraiser for my beautiful cousin Bobbi Jo Parsley and her family. Bobbi has a heart condition called Dilated Cardiomyopathy, along with Congestive Heart Failure. She has been struggling with this condition for a few years, long before Covid began.

She was recently admitted to the hospital with very low blood pressure and weakness. That night her heart stopped and doctors quickly defibrillated her and admitted her to the ICU. The hospital understood the decline with Bobbi’s heart condition and decided she needed to be treated at a bigger hospital, better equipped to handle her medical needs. She was flown to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, where she currently is.

Bobbi has been on the Heart Transplant List for a while now and the hospital has bumped her up on that list. She’s 49 years old and her heart is operating at 5%. The reason I’m trying to raise funds is because the doctors are telling the family that she will be there for the next 3 months, at least. They’re requiring someone from the family must be there at all times with her. This is putting a financial hardship on her husband and the rest of the family, since they live approximately 150 miles from the hospital. Bobbi and her husband, Joe, live on a fixed income. With the price of everything going up and the price of gas, this will be extremely difficult for the family. And we all know, no one should be alone while going thru this difficult time. No one wants to be alone in the hospital, while being told you need a heart transplant.

I’m asking for any kind of help you can give to help ease the burden for Bobbi and her family. Any amount will help. From $1 to $100, it all adds up and can help the family be there for Bobbi while she goes thru this. Our family knows that God will provide. Bobbi has a beautiful daughter, Hannah, and a cutie pie grandson Silas. She has much to live for. If you can’t donate, please consider saying prayers for Bobbi and sharing this.
