Amy Creek has been battling heart problems since October 2023. She will undergo surgery to receive the LVAD in March 2025. She is one of only two individuals to receive an LVAD in Posey County.

LVADs are used in patients with severe heart failure who are unable to pump enough blood on their own. They can be used as a temporary measure (bridge to transplant) while the patient waits for a heart transplant, or as a long-term solution.

This GoFundMe is to help her family with travel and medical-related expenses incurred as they travel back and forth to Indianapolis for surgery and recovery.
