We are the Hines family: Richard (dad), Heather (mom, that's me), Killian (almost 7), and Evelyn (almost 3). Our family is welcoming our newest member in early September. He has to come by C-section, and because of this, I won't be able to effectively care for our older two children on my own for at least a couple of weeks. Richard's place of employment does not provide paternity leave, so when Evelyn was born via C-section in 2022, he had to use all of his personal time and sick time to stay home and help us for 2 weeks total. It wasn't enough time for me to have a healthy recovery, but we had no choice as bills don't stop coming when things like this happen.

Our hope is to raise at least a month's worth of income so that I can have a better, healthier recovery this time around and avoid the same massive physical and financial stress we experienced a few years ago. Every share and every donation helps us get closer to achieving this goal.
