Losing my mother has been one of the hardest moments of my life, and we’re trying to honor her memory with a headstone. My mom, Joanne, was a loving, caring, and selfless woman who always put others before herself. She gave everything she had to the people around her — her time, her energy, her kindness — even when she didn’t have much to give. She was the type of person who made you feel seen, supported, and loved without ever asking for anything in return.
Not having a proper headstone for her has been painful for our family. It feels like her story isn’t complete, and we want a place where we can visit her, talk to her, and keep her memory alive. A headstone is more than stone to us — it’s a way to honor the life she lived and the impact she had on everyone who knew her.
We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t afford the cost on our own. Any support, no matter the amount, would help us give her the dignity and remembrance she deserves. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping us honor her in a meaningful way.
