A Hard and Embarrassing Lesson to Learn

Hello friends,

I never thought I’d fall victim to a scam, but unfortunately, I have. As most of you know, Rick passed away on July 7, 2021. Things have been difficult and challenging at times since then. I’ve also been jobless since the middle of February. That has also added to the stress that I’m currently feeling.

But I’m fortunate that I have family and friends who have been here to help me in more ways than I can count.

I fell victim to a scam and I’m broke. I’m setting up a Go Fund Me page in the hopes that I can continue to live in my home and get back on my feet.

There’s a goal that needs to be set on a Go Fund Me site. I’m setting that goal at $18,000.00. That’s a large amount, but it’s basically 6 months of living expenses. I’ll humbly accept and will be eternally grateful for anything I receive. If by chance I receive more than the goal, I’ll accept suggestions from everyone on charities that I can donate the overage to.
